JUANITA EICHELBERGER

Juanita Stutzman Eichelberger, 84, of Buhl, Idaho, died March 16, 2010. She was born Dec. 17, 1925, to Harold and Myrtle Reeder in Cheraw, Colo., the second of eight children.

She accepted Christ as her personal Savior as a teenager and became a member of the Mennonite church.

She married Eldon Stutzman on June 15, 1945. Together they enjoyed 50 years of marriage. To this union eight children were born — Douglas, Roger, Shirley, Dwight, Gordon, Byron, Barbara and Curtis.

She was a people-oriented individual whose home was always open to anyone. There was always room at the table for one more or a bed available. Having all of the family together for various occasions was a delight.

On July 28, 2001, she married Warren Eichelberger, and together they enjoyed seven years, spending winters in Arizona and summers in Idaho.

Survivors include six sons, Douglas Stutzman and his wife, Lyn, Roger Stutzman and his wife, Mary, Dwight Stutzman and his wife, Deb, Gordon Stutzman and his wife, Elaine, Byron Stutzman and his wife, Heidi, and Curtis Stutzman and his wife, Jeanne; two daughters, Shirley Eichelberger and her husband, Gary, and Barbara Unruh and her husband, Mark; stepchildren Darlene Christner and her husband, Jim, Donna Harland, Ron Eichelberger and his wife, Sharon, and Shirley Hamilton; two sisters; four brothers; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eldon Stutzman, and her second husband, Warren Eichelberger; and one brother.

Funeral services were held at Filer Mennonite Church. Burial was in the Filer Cemetery.
