MRS. MARY EBERSOLE

Mary Schweitzer Ebersole, daughter of George and Frona [sic Veronica] Neuschwanger Schweitzer, was born at Elmira, Waterloo county, Ontario on Dec. 5, 1875, and died May 14, 1949, at Birch Tree, Mo., age 73 years, five months and nine days.

On October 22, 1902, she was united in marriage to Noah E. Ebersole. To this union were born three sons, Samuel at home, Melvin, who preceded her in death at the age of 11 years, and Arthur of Birch Tree. She leaves her husband, two sons, three grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers, Lena of Kansas City, Mo., George of Ottawa, Kansas, John and Lovina of Osborne, Kansas, Katie of Canton, Kansas, and Charles of Protection, Kansas, and many other relatives and friends. One brother and two sisters preceded her in death.

At the age of about three she, with her parents and three older children, moved to Osborne, Kansas, where she grew to womanhood. In her youth she accepted Christ and united with the Mennonite Church, to which faith she remained true. She was faithful companion to her husband in his office of the ministry for over 46 years, and was a loving mother.

Funeral services were held at the Berea Mennonite church in charge of Oney Hathaway and Frank Horst, text Rev. 14:13. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
