VERNON ELMER EASH

Vernon Elmer Eash, son of Elmer and Sarah (Ulrich) Eash, was born January 1, 1919, near Roanoke, Illinois. He departed this life September 18, 1952, at Shelby Memorial hospital, aged 33 years, eight months, 17 days.

He united with the Amish Mennonite church in his youth and was a faithful member until death.

His mother preceded him in death December 18, 1938. He leaves to mourn his departure, his father; two brothers and three sisters, David, Shelbyville, Illinois, Mrs. Barbara Watkins, Eureka, Illinois, Clara, Peoria, Illinois, Ida, Shelbyville, Illinois, Roy, Peoria, Illinois; also four nephews, eight nieces and one great niece, uncles, aunts and cousins.

The Lord has again taken from our family circle, this time our dearly beloved son and brother. But we our heads do humbly bow and say, “Thy will be done, O Lord.”

Funeral services were conducted by J. E. Hostetler and D. M. Hostetler of the Linn A.M. church, Roanoke, Ill., Sept. 22, 1952.
