PIONEER OF SOUTHERN MANITOBA DIED

Altona, Man. — John P. Dyck, 91, died recently at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Abrams, at Hochstadt. Mr. Dyck was born in Russia in 1885 [sic 1855] and was a pioneer resident of southern Manitoba, coming here with his parents in 1874. He was a carpenter and later operated a store here for about ten years.

Surviving are eight children, 71 grandchildren and 87 great-grandchildren.
