TRACTOR ACCIDENT RESULTS IN DEATH OF JOHN DYCK AT WINKLER, MANITOBA

Winkler, Man. — John Dyck, 25 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George S. Dyck of the Kronsgart community, was instantly killed when a tractor fell over on him Thursday, Nov. 2.

The three-wheeled row crop tractor which he and Isaac Wiebe were driving turned over on the icy road, crushing Mr. Dyck with the rear axle.

A young brother, George, who is a student at the Indian residential school, was notified of the tragedy but was unable to come home in time for the funeral since airplane transportation was not available at this time.

The funeral services for the unfortunate young man were very largely attended.
