ISAAC L. DYCK

Isaac L. Dyck was born at Lehigh, Kansas on January 24, 1887 and went to be with the Lord on July 5, 1966 at Clearbrook, B.C. He was 79 years of age at his death.

As a young child he came to Canada with his parents and lived first in Manitoba and later in Saskatchewan. At an early age he accepted Christ as personal Saviour and was baptized and accepted into the Mennonite Brethren Church at Winkler. In 1911 he was united in marriage to Maria Sawatzky of Aberdeen, Sask. Most of his years were spent at Borden, Sask., where he served in the church in various capacities. In 1946 they moved to South Abbotsford and from there to Clearbrook, when they retired. The last months of his life were spent in the Tabor Old Folks Home at Clearbrook.

He was survived by his wife; two sons, Albert of Clearbrook and Ernie of Abbotsford; two daughters, Frieda (Mrs. Abe Wiens), Alma (Mrs. Paul Wiebe) of Lashburn, Sask.; 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.
