Dyck in the village of Alexanderthal where they lived until 1926. In that year they emigrated to Canada, arriving in Winkler. They lived the rest of their lives in Winkler. She and her husband were looking forward to their golden wedding anniversary when he passed away suddenly in 1968. Three other sons predeceased her in their infancy.
