— Funeral services took place at the Emmaus Mennonite church, Whitewater, on Tuesday afternoon for Miss Anna Dyck, 63, who passed away at Research hospital in Kansas City, Mo., on May 3 after being a patient there for three weeks. Miss Dyck was born at Whitewater Aug. 1, 1883, and had lived in the community throughout her life. She resided on a farm between Whitewater and Elbing with a sister, Katie Dyck, and two brothers, Gerhard and Henry Dyck. These survive in addition to two brothers in the Newton vicinity, John and Gustav Dyck, and eight nephews and three nieces. Rev. J. C. Kaufman, pastor of the Emmaus church, officiated at the final services.
