MINISTER PASSED AWAY AT MARION, S. D.
Marion, S. D. — Funeral services were scheduled for Sunday, July 18, at the E.M.B. church here for Rev. Abraham T. Duerksen, 58, who passed away Wednesday morning, July 14, after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.
Rev. Duerksen had been serving a church at Steinbach, Manitoba until about five months ago, when his health failed. He then returned to Marion, the community of his birth, for treatment.
His wife and 11 children survive.
