Elderly Couple In Accident At Frazer

MRS. PETER DUECK, FATALLY INJURED AS CAR HITS BRIDGE ABUTMENT

Frazer, Mont. — Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dueck, an elderly couple of Abbotsford, B. C., and 19-year-old Rudy Spenst, also of Abbotsford, were involved in a serious car accident here June 7, in which Mrs. Dueck was instantly killed.

Mr. Dueck, who had relieved Rudy as driver, lost control of the car when it swerved off the pavement, crashing into a bridge abutment. The car turned over and landed in the creek. Mr. Dueck was critically injured also but did not lose consciousness.

The body of Mrs. Dueck was shipped to Winnipeg, Man. where funeral services were held June 10 in the Mennonite Brethren church.

Mr. and Mrs. Dueck had planned to go as far east as Ontario to visit relatives.
