MARY DUECK

Mrs. Mary Dueek, 62, of Lucky Lake,Sask., went to be with the Lord on June 11 at her home. She was born June 1, 1905 at Herbert to Mr. and Mrs. David Driedger and in 1925 moved with her parents to the Lucky Lake area. There she met and in 1929 married Jacob S. Dueck.

In the spring of 1955, during evangelistic services conducted by Homer Edwards, she found personal salvation in Christ. That same summer she was baptized and received into the Mennonite Brethren Church at Lucky Lake. She leaves to mourn, her husband, Jacob; one son, Ernest, and his wife, Frieda; a daughter, Pearl, and her husband, Peter Funk; all of Lucky Lake. One grandson predeceased her. The funeral was in the Lucky Lake Church, with Rev. J. J. Thiessen officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Frank Froese of Warman, Sask.
