FRED H. DREIER

Fred H. Dreier, 80, retired farmer and dairyman of Route 1, Hesston, Kan., died unexpectedly at his home Sunday morning, Jan. 30, 1972.

He was born Oct. 15, 1891 near Hesston, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Dreier, and had been a lifelong resident on the farm where he died. He was active in church and community affairs and was affiliated for 24 years with the McPherson Concrete Products Co.

On Sept. 6, 1911 he married Luella Molzen. She died May 8, 1933.

Survivors include four sons, Kenneth, Delbert, Nelson and Alvin, all of near Hesston; one daughter, Mrs. Norman (Maurice) Briar of Newton; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Mamie Molzen, of Hesston.

On Nov. 17, 1934 he married Keturah Kauffman, who survives. One son preceded him in death.

Services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 1 at Highland Trinity United Church of Christ north of Newton with Rev. Herman Johnson of North Newton and Curtis Gaylord officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
