Alfred James Doerksen of Killarney, Man. passed away in a farming accident May 3. He was born July 29, 1951 to Frank and Mary Doerksen in Central Butte, Sask. In 1956, the family moved to Riverton, Man., where he attended elementary and high school. He graduated from Winkler Bible Institute. He accepted Jesus as a young boy and was baptized in 1978. His deep love for the Lord showed in his commitment to his family and church and in his concern for the hungry. He is mourned by his wife; children James, Jennifer, Steven and Jonathon; parents of Riverton, Man.; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. The funeral was May 5 in Lakeview MB Church, Killarney, with Walter Janzen ministering.
