Lifetime Resident Of Nebraska Area Dies

Henderson, Neb. — Peter J. Doell, a lifetime resident of this vicinity, died at the Henderson Community Hospital on Jan. 27 shortly before his 85th birthday. He was a resident of the Henderson Rest Home.

Born near Hampton in Hamilton County, he retired from farming in 1929 and moved to Henderson. He was then associated with the Farmers Union Co-op, first in the Farmers Union Oil company and later taking charge of the Farmers Union Cream Station. Mrs. Doell died in 1954. Survivors include three daughters, one son, a sister, Mrs. Henry A. Peters of Henderson, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church, where the funeral services were conducted on Jan. 30.
