BUSINESSMAN DIED AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Moundridge, Kans. — Funeral services held at the West Zion church here on May 12 for J. W. Dirks, 71, who passed away after a long illness.

Mr. Dirks was born here, and was formerly manager of a Moundridge lumber yard. Later he entered the insurance business, and for a time served as city clerk.
