— Funeral services were held at a Hutchinson funeral home on Wednesday for Henry D. Dirks, 66, a native of Buhler but a resident of Canada most of his life. A carpenter and farmer, he passed away at Grace hospital in Hutchinson on Sunday. Surviving are one son, A. W. Dirks of Hutchinsonson [sic Hutchinson], and one daughter, Mrs. Albert Ewy of Hesston; his mother, Mrs. Abraham Dirks of Goessel; and a number of other relatives in the central Kansas area, including brothers and sisters.
