MEETS DEATH IN TRACTOR ACCIDENT
Freeman, S. D. — Bernhard Dirks, 20-year-old son of Peter Dirks, was fatally injured near here recently when the tractor he was driving across Highway 16 was struck by a truck.
The young man was rushed to a Sioux Falls hospital by the Bridgewater ambulance, but failed to regain consciousness.
