REV. HENRY I. DICK DIES SUDDENLY
Aged Mountain Lake Minister Falls a Victim to Heart Disease

Rev. Henry I. Dick, for many years pastor of the Valley Church, and active in the work in the church up to his end, dropped dead suddenly last Sunday evening. He had been at church services during the day, as usual, and late in the afternoon, he sat down on the porch. Suddenly he fell forward, and when his wife looked at him, she found him already lifeless. he had fallen a victim to heart failure, with which he had been troubled for three years.

Rev. Dick was born in South Russia on September 29, 1864, and came to this country with his parents when he was ten years old. He made his residence here in the city during the past twenty-seven years, driving to church each Sunday with his picturesque horse and buggy.

He was always active in all church work, doing his share without compensation. During the past years, his physical condition was such that he could not actively complete his duties, as he formerly had, so he was relieved of some of the burdens of the congregation, his place being taken by Rev. D. A. Regier, who is now elder of the church.

Funeral services will be conducted from his home congregation tomorrow, Friday. — Mt. Lake Observer.
