FRANK A. DICK

Frank A. Dick was born in Hamilton County, Nebraska on July 2, 1895, to Frank J. and Anna (Janzen) Dick.

He was baptized on June 6, 1918 by Rev. H. H. Epp. He remained a faithful member of Bethesda Mennonite Church, Henderson, Neb., throughout his life.

On Oct. 16, 1921, he was married to Marie Penner. They shared life together for over 54 years.

In 1950 the dicks moved to Hampton, Neb. after having farmed in Hamilton and York counties. For a number of years Frank worked at various jobs until his retirement a few years ago.

He had been in failing health the past few years. In February he was hospitalized three weeks for surgery. He returned home for about one month where he had the misfortune of breaking a hip. Since the latter part of march he had been hospitalized and cared for in the Aurora Hospital and Hamilton Manor, Death came the evening of June 28, 1976. He reached the age of 80.

Those mourning his death are: his wife, two sisters, Anna, Mrs. G. J. Klippenstein, and Marie, Mrs. C. C. Kliewer, both of Henderson; a brother, John F. Dick and wife of O'Neill; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. John A. Janzen and husband of Aurora, and Mrs. Ted George of Sutton; one brother-in-law, Jacob Penner, and wife of Hampton; nieces and nephews. — The Family.
