FALL ON CHURCH STEPS FATAL TO MEMBER OF ONTARIO CONGREGATION

Kitchener, Ont. — Mrs. David J. Dick, 61, of New Hamburg, and a member of the Kitchener Mennonite Brethren Church, received severe head injuries in a fall down the front steps of the church following an evening service.

She was rushed to the hospital with a severely fractured skull and brain damage. Surgery was performed immediately, but she died on Wednesday and was buried on Saturday, Nov. 21.

Rev. Isaac Tiessen, pastor of the church, conducted the funeral service.

MRS. AGATHA DICK

Agatha Dick of New Hamburg, Ont., was born in Russia to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Unger.

She was married to David Dick in Russia in 1923. She came to Canada with her husband and settled in the Kitchener area.

Mrs. Dick died in the Kitchener Waterloo Hospital on Nov. 18. Her death was a result of a fractured skull sustained in a fall on the steps of the Kitchener Mennonite Brethren church.

She leaves to mourn her husband, David Dick; three sons, John, Helmuth and Donald; and two daughters, Mrs. Ella Isaac, and Miss Anita Dick.

Funeral services were conducted in the Kitchener church on Nov. 21 with Rev. I. H. Tiessen officiating.
