SARAH E. DEW

Sarah E. Dew was born December 22, 1880, at Avoca, Michigan, the daughter of Orlando and Persis Brown. She passed away June 19, 1952, at the age of 71 years, five months and 27 days.

On October 22, 1902, she was united in marriage to Albert C. Dew and moved to Oscoda county where she resided until her death.

Seven children came to bless this union: Cameron of Standish; Christopher of Dearborn; Albert of Farmington and Persis, Harry and Louise of Fairview. One daughter, Mildred, preceded her in death. Her husband Albert was laid to rest in 1914. Besides her children she leaves three sisters, of Port Huron, 18 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held June 21 at 2 p.m. in the Comins church, Rev. Joseph Atherton officiating. Interment in the Fairview cemetery.
