SIX-YEAR-OLD GIRL STRUCK BY CAR NEAR HOME, FATALLY INJURED
Lansdale, Pa. — The community here was saddened by the tragic death of six-year-old girl who was fatally injured while returning home from sledding Dec. 3.
Louise L. Derstine was run down by a motor car near her home on the Allentown road a few miles west of Lansdale Wednesday afternoon. She passed away at Grand View hospital, Sellersville, at 12:40 the next morning.
The parents are LeRoy M. and Margaret Landis Derstine.
