CHILD DROWNED IN WATER HOLE
Heuboden, Paraguay. — Funeral services were held here January 29 for little John Derksen, son of mr. and Mrs. Abraham Derksen, who drowned on the previous day in a water hole near their home. The parents had not noticed that the child had wandered away from the house and it was not discovered until an older brother entered the hole and brought out the lifeless body.
The child reached the age of one year and nine months.
