BOY FATALLY INJURED AS HE TAKES COW TO PASTURE
Winnipeg, Man. — Irving Derksen, aged 10, of St. Vital lost his life recently in an unusual accident in the Derksen pasture.
The boy was leading a cow to pasture for grazing and a younger brother was helping to drive the cow, which suddenly began to run. The rope was apparently wrapped about Irving’s arm so that he was dragged along and evidently kicked also. He was dead when picked up.
