Audrey (Mrs. Wayne) Deason, 69, died Aug. 24 at her home in McMinnville, Ore., where she and her husband had lived since 1984. Mrs. Deason was the daughter of Louis and Viola Rose Ritenberg, Oakland, Calif. they were married Aug. 14, 1936.

In 1949, she and her husband and two children went to Brazil as missionaries working on the Amazon river with New Tribes Missions. Because of poor health they returned to Colorado in 1952 and worked with Youth for Christ and Child Evangelism.

In 1966 they moved to the EMB Church in the Lustre area and while there hosted a 30-min. radio program.

In 1972, they moved to Salem, Ore., and pastored the Liberty Gardens Bible Church and in 1976 they returned to Wolf Point to pastor the Community Bible Church. In Wolf Point she and her husband played a big part in the building of the addition to the church and Mrs. Deason drew up the plans. They retired in 1984 and moved to McMinnville, Ore.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Deason; a daughter, Louise Smith of Oakdale, Calif.; and one son, Robert Deason of Fort Collins, Colo. Services were held on Aug. 27 in Bethel Baptist Church in McMinnville and on Aug. 31 an additonal service was held in Greeley, Colo., at the Chapel of Adamson's Mortuary, with interment at the Sunset Memorial Center.
