MARGARET DANIELS

Margaret Daniels died April 6. in Abbotsford, B.C. after a massive heart attack. She was born to Katharina and Peter Unger Feb. 1, 1920 in Sergeyevka, Ukraine. She married Theodore William Daniels in 1939. Theodore was drafted into the military 5 months after their first child was born in 1941. A second child, born prematurely in Markgroeningen, Germany in 1947, died after a few days. Margaret received a vision of Jesus with a crown of thorns and knew that Jesus died for her sins. She accepted Jesus and was baptized in Petershagen, Ukraine. In 1948 the family emigrated to St. Catharines, Ont. and moving to Arnold B.C. in October and then to Vancouver. Theodore died in 1960. She attended Vancouver and Culloden MB churches until 1996 when she moved to Abbotsford, B.C. and joined King Road MB Church. Her life of faith was an example to family and friends. Love for family was a priority. She enjoyed knitting, baking, gardening, swimming and vacationing with family. She was generous and had a positive attitude. Predeceased by Theodore, son Willie, 5 sisters and 1 brother, she is mourned by son John; daughters Laurie Penner and Elly Boldt; 7 grandchildren; 8 greatgrandchildren; 1 sister. The funeral was Apr. 10 in King Road MB Church with Andrew Dyck and Sig Polle ministering.
