George C. Crain Dies of Injuries

George C. Crain, 53, of 1102 S. Pine died early today in a Wichita hospital of injuries received Friday in an industrial accident at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita.

Mr. Crain, a press operator at Boeing, was injured about 1 p. m. Friday and died shortly after midnight.

He was born Jan. 12, 1917 in Newton, a son of Elizabeth Crain and the late Earl R. Crain. He spent his entire life in this area.

He married Ellen Ollenburger here on Nov. 20, 1949.

Mr. Crain was a member of 1st United Methodist Church and a World War II veteran.

In addition to his widow, survivors include his mother, of Newton; 2 brothers, Russell of Alaska and James of Halstead; 2 sisters, Mrs. Iris Roberts of Newton and Mrs. Eunice Dick of the state of Washington.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Draper-Cannon Funeral Home.
