GLADYS N. CONRAD

Gladys N. (Martin) Conrad, daughter of the late Alfred and Barbara (Stauffer) Martin, was born in Mahoning County, Ohio on July 24, 1909, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home in Columbiana, Ohio on Jan 26, 1977 at the age of 67.

She was a lifetime resident of the Columbiana area. She was baptized at an early age in the North Lima Mennonite Church by Rev. A. J. Steiner. At the time of her death she was a member of the Immanuel Reformed Presbyterian Church and the Women's Missionary Society.

On May 22, 1931 she was married to Daniel D. Conrad, who survives. They shared joys and sorrows for about 46 years. Two children were born to this union. Those who live to cherish her memory are a daughter Esther, Mrs. Leonard Rohrer, and son Dean, both of Columbiana, and three grandchildren. Three brothers, Paul, Dale, and Clifford, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at the North Lima Mennonite Church on Jan. 29 with Ministers Donald Hicks and David Steiner officiating. Burial was in the Midway Mennonite Cemetery.
