— The community was shocked last Sunday morning when the report was circulated that R. R. Claassen, well known farmer living east of newton, had died suddenly of an heart attack. Mr. Claassen had been in the Bethel Hospital for a short time, but was taken home again, apparently feeling quite well. He is survived by his grief-stricken wife, several children, brothers and sisters, and a large circle of friends. Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian church today, where he was a member.
