— William Christner, of C. P. S. Camp No. 28 at Medaryville, Ind., died as result of injuries received in an accident Wednesday, Sept. 27, on a nearby farm where he and another campee, Paul Neuenschwander, were working at the time. Found in an unconscious condition by Neuenschwander, the injured young man was taken to the hospital at Rennselaer sic Rensselaer], Ind., where he died several hours later. Although no one witnessed the accident, it was thought Christner was injured while working with a feed grinder. Funeral services were held at the home of his parents near Pigeon, Mich. The young wife and an infant son survive.
