Well Known Retired Farmer Died

Metamora, Ill. — Funeral services were held at the Metamora Mennonite church July 25 for John J. Camp. 79, well known retired farmer and lifelong resident of this community. Bishop Henry R. Schertz officiated, assisted by LeRoy Kennell.

Mr. Camp died unexpectedly on July 22 at the farm home in Roanoke township which had been the family homestead since his marriage to Anna E. Schertz in 1900. She preceded him in death several years ago.

He is survived by one son, Ezra Camp and family of St. Paul, Minn., with whom he had made his home during the winter and until a few weeks before his death.
