Fred Byler, 28, son of Ernest and Sadie Byler, was dead on arrival at a Philadelphia hospital after suffering a heart attack. His wife Dena, sister Wanda Stuck and brothers Kenneth of Souderton and Wendal of Allensville, survive. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Temple University and owned his own business in graphic design. Funeral services were held at Locust Grove Mennonite church, with Gerald Peachey, Max Zook and Erie Renno officiating.
