FUNERAL FOR AMISH BISHOP IN OHIO
Middlefield, Ohio. — Funeral services for Bishop Dan A. Byler of the Old Order Amish church, whose death occurred on August 15. Ministers who officiated were Bishops Eli E. Hostetler, Andy J. Weaver of Holmes county, Joni B. Mullet of Iowa and Dave D. Miller and Preachers Levi A. Miller and Amos S. Gingerich.
Bishop Byler, who served the North Middlefield district, was well-known among the Amish people and it is estimated that around 1,000 persons attended the services.
