Minister's Wife Dies at Elkhart

Elkhart, Ind. — Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Buzzard, 81, wife of Rev. A. L. Buzzard, were held at the Belmont Mennonite church here Nov. 6. Rev. Niel Beachy, the pastor, and Rev. Howard Zehr officiated.

Mrs. Buzzard was the former Cora Shoemaker, daughter of Rev. J. S. and Lizzie Shoemaker of Freeport, ill. For a number of years she and her husband lived at Metamora, ill. where Rev. Buzzard was a minister of the Metamora Mennonite church. They moved to Elkhart in 1929.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, J. Milton of Peoria, Ill., Joe R. of Scottdale, Pa., and Harold of Elkhart; four daughters, Mrs. Elmer Nofsinger of Washington, Ill., Mrs. LeRoy Yoder of Topeka, Mrs. Walter Hemmingway and Mrs. Lloyd Yoder of Elkhart; two sisters, two brothers, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
