HENRY W. BUSCHMAN

Henry W. Buschman, son of Henry H. and Anna (Warkentin) Buschman, was born July 5, 1889 in Marion county, Kansas. When quite young he moved with his parents to Washita county, Okla. where he realized his lost condition and accepted Christ as his Savior. He was baptized and accepted into the K.M.B. church of Weatherford, Okla.

In June 1940 he transferred his membership to the Mennonite Brethren church at Adams, Okla. where he remained a member until death.

In 1917 he came to Ochiltree county, Texas as a pioneer where he engaged in farming and water-well drilling.

On Sept. 10, 1922 he was united in marriage to Marie Katharine Baier. This union of over 37 years was blessed with three sons and one daughter.

Last year he retired from farming but remained moderately active until February when he became ill. On May 4 his condition became serious and he passed away on May 8, 1960 at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 27 days.

He is survived by his wife Marie; three sons, Erich of Indian Head, Maryland, Alvin of Perryton, Texas, Waldo of Waka, Texas; one daughter Wanda of Dallas, Texas; seven grand-children; five brothers and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
