RETIRED FARMER OF BERNE, IND. DIED
Berne, Ind. — Oscar E. Burry, 74, who was born in Switzerland and came to this community as a child, died at Adams County hospital on March 20 after a long illness. He was the last surviving member of a family of 10, and farmed here for many years.
Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church with burial in the Evangelical Mennonite cemetery. A number of children, grandchildren and great grandchilden [sic] survive.
