Heart Ailment Proves Fatal

Pandora, Ohio. — Mrs. Martha M. Burkholder, 50, a life-long resident of this vicinity, died in a Cleveland hospital on Sept. 30, having been ill several months with a heart ailment.

Funeral services were held Friday at the Ebenezer Mennonite Church near Bluffton, of which she had been a member since her youth. Rev. Waldo Flickinger, the pastor, officiated.

Mrs. Burkholder had been employed as bookkeeper at the Bluffton Telephone Co. Her husband, Hiram D. Burkholder, died in 1940. Four children, eight grandchildren, three sisters and five brothers survive.
