WILLIAM (BILL) BULLER

William (Bill) Buller died Sept. 21. He was born near Ernfold, Sask. Apr. 23, 1916 to John and Maria Buller. At 14 he committed his life to Christ during evangelistic meetings by Rev. Frank Wiens. He was baptized, joining Flowing Well (Sask.) MB Church. He attended Herbert Bible School and Prairie Bible Institute. He served as a conscientious objector during World War II. He married Agatha Dyck of Winkler, Man. Nov. 28, 1943. They settled on the family farm at Ernfold, then moved to a farm at Flowing Well. He became pastor at Flowing Well MB Church in 1946, also attending Briercrest Bible Institute, Caronport, Sask. in 1947-48. In 1962 they moved to Meadow Lake, Sask. where he became pastor of the MB church until 1972. They moved to Herbert, Sask. where he worked at the nursing home as well as at the seniors' home, retiring in 1981. He moved into the nursing home in July 2000. Bill and Agatha enjoyed travelling, particularly their trips to PEl and Israel. Bill continued to teach Sunday school, lead Bible studies and preach for many years. He was interested in and supported missions. His Bibles were filled with notes and prayer lists. Predeceased by 4 sisters, 1 brother, he is mourned by Agatha; sons Lowell and Marvin; daughter Elaine; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 1 sister; 1 brother. The funeral was Sept. 25 in Herbert MB Church.
