MARIE BULLER

Marie Buller, daughter of the late A. J. and Marie Siemens Williams was born on a farm near Buhler, Kansas, October 4, 1884, where she lived all her life with the exception of about four year [sic] years. She suddenly passed away at her home September 8, 1947, of coronary occlusion, reaching the age of 62 years, 11 months and four days.

She received her education in the Lakeside school. On June 1, 1903, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized by Rev. Abr. Ratzlaff and received as a member of the Hoffnungsau church. Later when the Buhler Mennonite church was organized, she became a charter member and remained a faithful member until her death. Especially did he receive much joy and inspiration from her Sunday School class.

On April 15, 1910, she was joined in holy matrimony to George Buller. They were privileged to share their joys and sorrows for 37 years, four months, and 23 days. Seven children were born to this union — four sons and three daughters, all of whom are living. She had the joy of seeing all of them accept Christ as their Savior.

Mother worked hard for her family and has earned her rest. It was especially hard for her when two of her sons were in service but we feel her prayers have been heard at the throne of Grace and she was thankful that both returned. She had an unwavering faith in her God and of late knew that he would soon call her home.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband; four sons, Vernon and William Buller of Buhler, Richard Buller, now in the merchant marine, and Raymond Buller of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Alma Neufeldt of Inman, Elizabeth Buller of Hutchinson, and Lorene Buller of the home; a brother, Abe Williams, Woodland, Wash.; five sisters, Mrs. Nick Neufeld, Wasco, Calif., Mrs. Henry Johnson, Escondido, Calif., Mrs. John Sawatzky, Buhler, Mrs. John Reimer, Haven, and Mrs. Herb Dick, Hutchinson and seven grandchildren.

For all the blessings life has brought,
For all its sorrowing hours have taught,
For all we mourn, for all we keep,
The hands we clasp, the loved that sleep.

We thank Thee, Father; let Thy grace
Our loving circle still embrace,
Thy mercy shed its heav'nly store,
Thy peace be with us evermore.
