WIDELY KNOWN HILLSBORO MANUFACTURER CALLED AWAY IN DEATH

Hillsboro, Kansas. — One of the largest funerals held here in recent months was that of Jacob W. Buller, enterprising business man of this city, held at the First Mennonite church on Friday afternoon, March 15. Mr. Buller died on Tuesday, March 12, at the age of 77 years.

Unusually gifted in mechanical lines, Mr. Buller was a widely known manufacturer and inventor. Few, if any, ever engaged in such a wide range of activities, which included farming, threshing rig operator, manufacturer of saw frames for Montgomery Ward, butcher shop owner, and inventor of tools and farm equipment.

Two sons, D. T. and L. T. Buller, who now carry on the business, and four daughters survive.
