Mrs. Jacob P. Buller

Mrs. Jacob P. Buller was born in Rudnerweide, South Russia, on Nov. 15, 1869. In the year of 1874 she came to America with others and settled near Buhler, Kansas. She became converted and was baptized by Elder Dietrich Gaeddert and united with the Hoffnungsau church. later she became a member of the Buhler Mennonite church.

On Oct. 3, 1902, she united in marriage with Jacob P. Buller, her husband passing away 22 years later. Besides the children she leaves three brothers and one sister.

About a year ago she became afflicted with rheumatism. Later she underwent an operation hoping to gain her health but such was not the will of God. She passed away on Friday, Nov. 11, after five weeks of much suffering.

The funeral services were held at the Hoffnungsau church Sunday, Nov. 13. Rev. P. R. Voth officiated and was assisted by Rev. C. H. Voth. The Hoffnungsau quartette rendered a number of selections during the services. Rev. Abr. Ratzlaff spoke at the house and Rev. A. J. Dyck at the cemetery. — Buhler Review.
