MRS. ELIZABETH BULLER

Elizabeth Buller, nee Boese, daughter of John and Agnetha Boese, was born Dec. 15, 1879, near Andrus, South Dakota.

She was baptized June 28, 1896, by Rev. Chris Kauffman and became a member of the Friedensburg church.

On May 11, 1899, she was united in marriage to Fred Buller by Rev. Christian Kauffman. To this union were born four daughters and three sons: Ruth, Mrs. John Slattery of Springfield, S. D., Rose, Mrs. John H. Ewert of Freeman, S. D., Sophia, Mrs. Harold Hornstra of Springfield, S. D., Jefferson of Del Paso Heights, Calif., Leo of Auburn, Calif. and Herbert who preceded her in death. A grandson Ronald also preceded her in death.

All but five years of the 47 years of her married life were spent on the same farm where she was born. Five years were spent in Montana and Oregon. The last nine years she and her husband resided in Springfield, South Dakota. She was a devoted Christian mother and will be greatly missed.

She passed to her rest March 3, 1955, at the age of 76 years, two months and 18 days. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, two sons, four daughters, six grandchildren and one brother.

The funeral services were held Monday, March 7, 1955, at the Mennonite church near Avon, South Dakota.
