Kansas Young Man Crushed On Large Earth Moving Machine

Liberal, Kan. — Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Calvary Mennonite Church here for Doyle Eugene Buller, 21, who died in an accident northwest of Plains, Kan. on June 28. Rev. Richard Ratzlaff, the pastor, officiated.

The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Buller, was crushed to death late Wednesday when he tried to climb into a huge earthmoving machine and was somehow caught on one of the tires. He was employed by Schmidt and Unruh of Kismet, who were engaged in leveling a field for irrigation.

The accident occurred as the crew was about to quit for the day.
