ARNOLD JACOB BULLER

Arnold Jacob Buller was born on Sept. 11, 1905 at Gotebo, Okla., the fourth of 11 children of Jacob J. and Helena Buller. When he was very young the family moved to Goessel, Kan. where they settled on a farm.

He received his education at the Emmantal School and the Goessel Preparatory School, which he attended for one year. As a young man he was baptized and joined the Goessel Mennonite church. He spent most of his youth working on the farm and doing construction work as a brick mason.

In 1933 he moved to Shafter, Calif. where he met Kathryn Friesen. They were married in 1936. In 1942 they moved to Reedley where he was active in farming. In 1946 he became a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle and was active in that church. He was employed by Grower’s Supply co. of Reedley for over 20 years. He retired in 1969 but stayed active in farming and church work. He was father of one son, Lee Roy of Reedley, and one daughter, Betty Avants of Tucson, Ariz., and leaves one grandson, Kenny. He was liked by children and adults alike.

He is also survived by his stepmother and step father, Mr. and Mrs. Pete (Helen) Androes; six brothers, Ernest and Hugo of Kansas, Otto of Oregon, Bill, Vernon and Dave of Fresno, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. John (Hilda) Unruh of Shafter and Mrs. Milton (Selma) Doell of Aztec, N. M.
