. . .

An oil field truckdriver, Temple Bull of Hill City, met with a tragic accident which resulted in the death south of Newton near Sedgwick early last Thursday morning. As the truck he was driving went into the ditch the heavy spool of oil well drilling cable which he was hauling rolled forward against the cab, killing him outright and injuring his companion. The cause of the accident is said to be a turn in the road which the driver did not see in time.
