Widow Of Music Professor Died

Goshen, Ind. — Mrs. Mary Brunk, 78, widow of the late Prof. J. D. Brunk, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Homer Bartow, near here on Dec. 16.

Mrs. Brunk, who was born at Hagerstown, Md. on May 29, 1875, was married to J. D. Brunk in 1897. Before his death in 1926, Mr. Brunk served for a number of years as music instructor at Goshen College. He was well known as a music director and also as the composer of a number of hymns.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dorsey Yoder of Ft. Wayne, Mrs. Harry Leatherman of Uniondale, N. Y., and Mrs. Bartow; two sons, J. Milton and Niemann Brunk of Frederick, Md.; 12 grandchildren; and a brother, J. Harry Martin of Hagerstown.
