HENRY H. BRUBAKER
Henry H. Brubaker of Upland, Calif., retired missionary and former bishop of the Rhodesia Brethren in Christ Church, died Sunday, Aug. 20 at San Antonio Community Hospital.
Bishop Brubaker, 72, came to Upland six and a half years ago after retiring from his church duties. Those duties included 29 years as a missionary to Rhodesia and 21 years as head of the Rhodesian Brethren in Christ denomination.
Bishop Brubaker is survived by his widow, Grace; a son, Ronald B. of Hemet, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Lee (Edna) Schroeder of Hanford, Calif.; a brother, Mervin B. of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 23 at Upland Brethren in Christ Church. Entombment was at Bellevue Mausoleum.
