ATTENDS FUNERAL OF MOTHER IN GERMANY
Berne, Ind. — Fritz Brouer of Berne, left Jan. 18 for Leer, Germany to attend the funeral of his mother, Mrs. Frida Brouer, 81, who died there Jan. 16. The services were to be held Jan. 21 at the Mennonite church of Leer, Mrs. Brouer having lived in that community throughout her life.
Gerh. Brouer, the husband and father at one time farmed in Minnesota, but after his marriage lived in Germany where he owned and managed a factory. He died in 1937.
