ADAM J. BRILLHART

Adam J. Brillhart, pioneer farmer of the Hobart, Okla., community, passed away at the Sentinel hospital there on March 19, 1947, at the age of 67. Mr. Brillhart had been a patient at the hospital since Feb. 23 and had undergone a major operation. He was apparently making a satisfactory recovery when he suffered a relapse and died quite suddenly.

The deceased was born February 9, 1880 at Bluffton, Ohio. He came to Kiowa county in 1901, filing on a farm southwest of Hobart. In 1906, he married Anna Dalke of Mt. View, and they became the parents of eight children, two of them dying in infancy. He was a member of the Methodist church.

At the time of his death he was living on a farm northwest of Hobart on the Sentinel road.

He is survived by his wife Anna; three sons, Elmer of Okmulgee, Melvin and Efton of Hobart; three daughters, Mrs. Velma Eskew of Verden, Mrs. Venna Waddell of Dallas, and Ruby Ann of the home.

The following sisters and brothers are also living: Oliver Brillhart, Oakland, Cal.; Mrs. Clara DeShon, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Efton Eichor, Hobart; Mrs. Hubert howl, Lone Wolf; and Noah and Alvin Brillhart of Hobart.

Funeral services took place at the Hobart Methodist church on Friday afternoon, March 21.
