— Funeral services took place at the Upper Deer Creek church northwest of Kalona, Iowa on Aug. 5 for Mrs. Mary Brenneman, 89, a lifetime resident of that vicinity. In recent years she had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Dan Horst, who survives along with four sons.
